Well, I did try to write a post at Dubai, but for some reason it isn't posting from the app I usually use???? Bit annoying. However to catch up...
We left home earlier than we were intending, having got most of the things on the list done! Of course, having the garden under control and the house completely organised, was NOT achieved! However, I have resigned myself to what we had been able to do and really, under the circumstances, that is pretty good!
We got to Melbourne, and found our way to the QANTAS lounge which was rather nice. Nowhere near as busy as the one in the domestic terminal.
The plane, was one of those smaller ones, and turns out it has much more leg room than the A380 did, which seems strange to me. We were sitting at the back so had two seats rather than the three, and I had a window which I really like. I love watching the world go by beneath me, especially over Asia, where at night there are all those lights, who are they, what are they doing?
The QANTAS flights to Singapore used to go up towards Darwin, however this one went between Ullaru and Alice Springs and then Port Hedland. Over Indonesia and on to Singapore.
